Hey! I'm one of THOSE moms!

You know, the ones who stroll trough the mall pushing a stroller ahead of them and stopping every ten minutes to stick a binky back in the kids mouth, or pick up a toy, or stop to feed him. We had SO much fun! Daddy went to a movie with Uncle Mike and we at lunch (baby had a bottle, I had a burrito.) Then we went shopping. I wanted to find some slip on shoes to wear around the house. In the middle of famous footwear, right as I find the pairs I want to try on, Andrew has a breakdown. Crying... loudly! But damn it, I wanted those shoes! So i sat myself down and made him a bottle in the middle of the shoe store. The nice sales lady came over a few minutes later and asked if I needed any help and took my boxes up to the counter for me. As I am struggling to wheel the stroller to the front when, duh-da-da-duh! Super Dad arrives! He took the baby and the bottle and I paid for my shoes and all was good. Yay!

It was tons of fun. Andrew loves the mall and is such a flirt! When he is fed and changed he will smile at anything that moves. I even spent $5 at one of those picture booths and took pictures of the two of us on our mommy and me shopping trip. Only one turned out really cute, but that's ok. I love it! What a great day! ;-)

SOOOOO SLEEEEEPY!

I am at work. It is 6:04 am. I have been awake since 11am yesterday. It is my own fault, cuz I scheduled a Dr. Appt. right in the middle of nap time. Still, I am so tired! Please, someone splash some cold water on my face and get this last hour over with so I can go home and SLEEP! (If my replacement gets here on time, I could end up leaving up to 20 minutes early! I love that about my job!

Oh, yeah... I had my 90-day review today. I am a team player who seeks out resources and is a self-starter. And my boss didn't say anything about the several absences I had in my first 90 days due to illness (first mine, I threw up at work, in front of the Charge Nurse. She sent me home. Then there was hubby's bloody nose. He felt faint afterward and I didn't feel good leaving him with the baby all alone in that condition.) And no mention of the aforementioned 20 min early departures. So, I appear to be doing my job just fine! yay!

BATH TIME!!!!

At least he likes books ;-)

Auntie LaLa bought the little guy this great finding Nemo book that uses characters to teach colors. It is supposed to be a bath time book, you know, all plastic covered so it can get wet. Good thing too, cuz every time I pick it up after Andrew has "read" it, it is completely soaked in drool. The pages start to stick together from all the wetness. It is so funny! But, he loves his book!
