I can not believe it has been an entire year! Hubby and I sat down last night and started looking at photos from his birth and on. So cute! Then he decided to pull up some video files. The first one he pulls up, and boom, in full color across his computer screen is my son, crowning. ;-) He actually jumped back in his chair a little and said "Whoa!" It was so funny! I love that we have video of his birth! (Thank you Auntie LaLa, your first official act of Auntie-ism was a smashing success!) It was just such a special moment, and I love that I can relive it (sorry, it just doesn't gross me out. It is the most important moment in my life, and I can't help but love it.) Of course, mommy started crying looking through all those picks. One comes SO fast!
This week, my little genius has come to realize that he can decide when and where to play peak-a-boo. He has initiated peak a boo once or twice before, but my favorite was today. Daddy brought him in to the bedroom to lay down for a nap and he popped his little head up, olled over to his back and grabbed right on to the sheet and pulled it up over his head, blocking his view of his daddy, then pulled it down and started giggling. Daddy says "Where's Baby? Oh, there he is!" over and over and they played for like 5 minutes. It was SO adorable.
He is trying something new every day and it is such a fun, exciting, scary time in our house. Here's to another year of blessings and fun with my baby boy. I Love you!!
