Oh, thank god!!!
We had a Dr. appointment today and she says we are gonna move my due date a little earlier! Yay!
Let me tell you, I am so ready to have this kid. Even the patients at work look at me and say how huge my stomach is for how long we thought i had to go. I took a little tumble two fridays ago and when the doctor walked in to exam me (I work at the ER and when I got to work, having fallen just as I was leaving the house to go to work, the nurses insisted I check in just in case) The Dr took one lok at me and said, "My god! You're huge! When did that happen?!" Everyone seems to think this big belly just sprang forth overnight, but let me tell you, it has been brewing for quite some time, and boy is my back tired of it.
So now, instead of expecting our little one on or about March 29th, Dr. says we will consider inducing if he hasn't made an appearance by March 20th. That's about three weeks from now. Boy, oh boy, this is getting real! I have got so much to do still!!
Motherhood, here I come!
... on the sentimental and hormonal side, Hubby was sitting with me on the couch tonight watching TV and leaned over to me, touching and kissing my belly like he usually does, and says "I know you won't, but I am gonna miss this." Just so sweet. And in a lot of ways, I will miss being pregnant. It has been hard on me a lot of the time, but it is such an incredible feeling to feel your little son moving inside of you, and playing guess the appendage when he's kicking. It was nice to have Hubby remind me that it hasn't all been so bad. ;-)
