The end of an era...

Well, maybe not an era, but certainly a couple of very busy weeks in my life. As of 10:01pm last night (I clocked out a minute late, so sue me!) I no longer work for Blockbuster. I turned in my pre-street rentals (that was my fav part of working there. I saw Fever Pitch and Fiance watched Hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy, and they don't even come out till Tuesday!) and walked away.

Now, today I am running some errands. I have to return two switchplates we bought at the Anthropologie in Las Vegas because they don't fit and didn't come with screws. I have to go to the bank (Yes, I found a bank open on a Sunday! The Bank One in our Fry's is open from 10am-2pm! So cool!) and deposit the rest of Fiance's paycheck because they screwed it up last week and gipped him nearly $400! Then, I am going to drive to the airport because I need to know how to find the employee parking garage before I get there on Tuesday morning (or so the study guide says, and I believe them). And then on my way home, I will need to stop and pay outrageous amounts for gas.

Then, I have to go to target and maybe the mall tonight because I need to buy a black leather belt, hosiery, and if I can find some that are cute one or two polo shirts. This is because there are two outfits required for training. One is our OJT uniform, which consists of a white button-up shirt and black or navy slacks with matching non-decorated pumps and hosiery and a leather belt. So, finding a white button-up shirt that fits me is near impossible, except that I discovered this store called casual corner, and they have three stores all in a row- anorexic, gifted by God with good metabolism, and fluffy! And the fluffy store has everything I could ever need in a work outfit, and on sale even!! I got my white shirt for 40% off, and I picked up two SUPER comfy undershirts for it (cuz white is very see-through in the desert) for 2 for 28, which was $8 off. I spent about $50, and am very happy cuz they fit like gloves and are comfy, so I won't feel weird wearing them all the time.

The other outfit we are required to wear isn't so much an outfit. It's just that we must be "professionally dressed" for class. This means no jeans. So, I have the pants handled for awhile, but they said polo shirts (cuz they got collars) are good, and I thought they'd be comfy a few days a week, and so I want one. And I may find myself some comfy pants too cuz old navy is having a sale right now. So, shopping it is. Darn, and I just hate having to shop. 0;-)

But, here's the part I left out. The reason I run errands in the morning and shop at night, is because I have to be back by 5:30 so I can take Fiance to work, because his car is in the shop. The fuel pump is apparently not holding pressure, and they said they would have to take the gas tank completely out of the car, and s they have it till Monday. And I start work on Monday. In Tempe. Like a 45-1hour drive from our house. This is gonna be fun. ;-) Fiance will either take the day of work, or have his bro drive him and I can pick him up after he gets done at 9pm. So, we have it worked out.

And, that is my day today.

See ya later!

Dear Sweet Pea,

Damn it... those retards on the search for free spamming found your beautiful blog and have posted comments. We will now have to delete their comments, put a curse on them and their livestock, and write to Kevin and ask him what to do. I know he knows how to filter them because he had to do it on his own blog. On second thought, let's curse their livestock AND the next 4 generations of these lousy freeloaders!!! :(

Loved your entry. I need to update mine and will do so today. I have THOUGHT about all the wonderful things I've wanted to blog about but time is always slipping away from me.

I love the description of the three stores... CLASSIC!!! :) Love you!
Mum
